Security Officer, Site Supervisor, or Patrol Supervisor

Security Guard License (w/8 Hr. Refresher Course)
2-years of verifiable employment history in U.S.
Clearance of a 10-panel drug screening
Ability to effectively read/write/speak English
CA Driver License

 

Valet Attendant or Valet Supervisor

CA Driver License with clean DMV record
2-years of verifiable employment history in U.S.
Clearance of 10-panel drug screening
7-year criminal background check
Ability to effectively read/write/speak English
Competence driving a manual transmission

 

Shuttle Driver

CA Driver License: Class B
DMV Passenger Endorsement
Clean DMV record
2-years of verifiable employment history in U.S.
Clearance of 10-panel drug screening
7-year criminal background check
Ability to effectively read/write/speak English

What is a Guard Card?

In California, any person wishing to work as a security officer must obtain a Security Guard Registration from the Dept. of Consumer Affairs. This license is often referred to as a Guard Card. It verifies that the U.S. Dept. of Justice and the FBI have researched and cleared the applicant’s background. It also confirms that the applicant has been instructed in the Powers to Arrest.
